We celebrated our 100th Anniversary
from September, 2002, through April, 2003
Scheduled events included:

Opening Service - September 29th, 2002
The Rev. Dr. Lyle J. Weible, Conference Minister of Penn Central Conference
was our guest preacher. Following the service, we held an Old Fashioned Sunday School session followed by Old Fashioned games and a picnic lunch.

October 27th, 2002 - 9 AM Service
The Covenant Players performed short dramas on an Anniversary theme.

November 3rd, 2002 - All Saints Celebration
The Rev. Dr. Karen Elizabeth King, Area Conference Minister of Penn Central Conference, was our guest preacher. The service included videotaped memories of the "saints" of Dover UCC, past and present.

December 8th, 2002 - Advent Program
Several homes were open in the afternoon
to display Christmas decorations.
The evening program included a covered dish supper
and an Old Fashioned Hymn Sing.

January, 2003
A "planning" event was held to consider our future.

February, March, & April
A ten week historical display - a decade each week

Homecoming Service - April 27th, 2003 - 9:00 AM
The Rev. John H. Thomas, General Minister and President of the
United Church of Christ was our guest preacher. A program and dinner
followed the service.

A new church membership directory was produced at the end of 2002,
a new history of the congregation was printed and distributed,
and various special mementoes were made available
throughout the celebration.
